NYS Sets Record For The Highest Opening Month For Online Sports Bets

New Yorkers placed more than $1.1 billion in online sports bets in less than a month in January. The $1.1 billion represents wagers placed in New York during the first three weeks of January, according to data from the state’s gaming commission. It doesn’t account for bets placed from the last week of January, which state officials plan to release in coming days.
