Are you being safe while dating (if you are dating) during the COVID-19 pandemic? If you are in a relationship or married are you and your partner being safe?
Or are you being so safe you are not having sex at all?
Well, health officials in New York City say with social distancing and stay home orders you should and will have sex. BUT, they want you to be safe first and foremost, wear a mask, have fun and make it kinky.
The NYC Health Departments COVID-19 Sex Guidance recommends no kissing and no more than two people however, if you must have three (or more) limit the guest list. They also recommend to wear a face covering, have sex in a well ventilated area, and bring alcohol or hand sanitizer.
Another big thing health officials say is NO kissing! COVID-19 particles live in saliva, mucus, and breath of people who have the virus. So basically, stay within your circle and get creative with your partner. They recommend you and your partner get creative and kinky for example use a barrier like a wall and a mask.
Most importantly be smart! Do not have sex of you feel sick or are sick and use protection like condoms and dental dams.
Lastly, get consent from both or all parties involved and wash up before sex and afterwards.
Overall, health officials across the county want you to maintain sexual wellness during the pandemic.
