Nicole Ari Parker Added To Upcoming Sex and the City Reboot On HBO Max

Nicole Ari Parker will replaced Kim Cattrall in the upcoming Sex and the City reboot. According to The Guardian, Ari Parker will be playing Carrie Bradshaw’s new best friend, Lisa Todd Wexley, a documentary filmmaker. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon are set to executive produce the show for HBO Max. The cast change is no surprise, Parker and Cattrall are not the best of friends. Cattrall tapping out of the franchise after doing two Sex and the City movies. Sex and the City first aired in 1998 and ran for six seasons, winning seven Emmys and eight Golden Globe awards.
