New Study Shows Some Grocery Store Workers Testing Positive For Asymptomatic COVID-19 At Higher Rate

When taking a trip to the grocery store make sure you have your mask and use the hand sanitizer stations before entering the store and after. A new study shows that there is a high rate of COVID-19 cases among grocery store workers. Especially those who deal directly with customers.

The study was conducted at a grocery store in Boston Massachusetts. It showed that about 20% of the employees at the store tested positive for the coronavirus. Most of the employees who tested positive had no symptoms. The survey studied 104 employees.

Those employees that had a customer facing role were five more time likey to contract COVID-19 than employees that don’t and can practice social distancing.
