New Initiative Aimed at Getting Kids Vaccinated: 50 Vaccinated Kids Will Get Full-Ride to SUNY/CUNY

Yesterday during a press conference with Governor Kathy Hochul, our New York governor announced the launch of a new vaccination initiative aimed at getting kids vaccinated. This is initiative is called the “Vaccinate, Educate, Graduate,” which enables children who get the COVID-19 vaccination by December 19 to be entered into a pool where 50 names will be chosen to receive a full ride to a SUNY or CUNY institution.
In the conference, Governor Hochul stated: “Tuition, fees, room and board, the whole nine yards. If one of your children wins this, you should probably take them to Disney World…There’s two great gifts you can give your children; one is the gift of good health and that’s what they’ll get when you get them vaccinated. The second is a shot at getting this full-ride scholarship.”
