More than 50 NY Democratic County Chairs Call for Cuomo’s Resignation

It’s not just President Biden who is calling for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s resignation. The numbers have continued to grow over the weekend, with more than 50 New York Democratic County Chairs calling for Andrew Cuomo to resign. There are 62 counties in New York state.
Washington County Democratic Committee Chair Alan Stern is just one of many calling on Cuomo’s resignation, stating; “This is not about politics. This is about workplace safety, about human dignity. And the defense that’s being put up now, to me, is totally unconvincing…We support President Biden and all our elected officials in their call for Governor Cuomo to resign… I fully expect that the assembly will impeach and the senate will likely convict.”
