Monroe County Sets Record For Early Voting Number

Written by on November 2, 2020

The numbers are in for early voting, with a record 105,733 voters. A little under 11,000 of them were accounted for yesterday in the final day of early voting. This is according to The Monroe County Board of Elections.

BOE rep Maureen Dauphinee told WHEC-TV that roughly 38% of registered county voters took part, the 38% includes absentee ballots. In years past, she says numbers tended to be between only 1 and 4%. Voters can check the status of whether their ballot has been received by the Board of Elections by visiting here.

Election Day voting begins Tuesday at 6 a.m.
