Monroe County Installing Life-Saving Kits at 60 Public Locations

This week, Monroe County announced their plan to install 60 life-saving kits in buildings and public spaces across the county.The “Life Saving Station” boxes each include an automated external defibrillator (AED), naloxone, a bleeding control kit, hand sanitizer, and are meant to be used before EMS professionals arrive on the scene of an emergency.

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello stated: “The Life Saving Stations provide equipment and medicine that are going to enable bystanders to help when someone’s having a heart attack, bleeding from an injury or suffering an overdose in these precious initial moments.”
