Written by Site Hub on September 20, 2022
In remembrance of Daniel Prude, the City of Rochester has renamed the amphitheater at MLK Park: Daniel Prude Square. There is already a large mural at the site in honor of Prude. A permanent sign has also been installed. Prude would have turned 44 today, Sept. 20, 2022.
Mayor Malik Evans stated: “The City of Rochester will never forget Daniel Prude. His death reverberated across and beyond our region, and we will memorialize him and ensure his name is remembered.”
