Michael Jordan Donates Millions To Feeding America

Michale Jordan just announced that he will be donating $2 million from the proceeds of The Last Dance to help feed America’s hungry.
The award winning basketball documentary gave viewers a glimpse into the world of Jordan’s final championship season with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan received upwards of $4 million for his participation.
Feeding America, a nationwide network of over 200 food banks let everyone know the deal on Wednesday with a tweet that said:
“An incredible gift to be thankful for. NBA legend Michael Jordan is donating $2 million to help our neighbors facing hunger! #TheLastDance”
Jordan provided a statement, saying:
“In these challenging times and in a year of unimaginable difficulty due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to pause and give thanks. I am proud to be donating additional proceeds from The Last Dance to Feeding America and its member food banks in the Carolinas and Chicago to help feed America’s hungry.”
