Mayor Warren Hospitalized for Salmonella Poisoning

The City of Rochester announced Monday that Mayor Lovely Warren is back in the office after spending a week in the hospital.
Between her 44th birthday on July 1st and the 4th of July Celebrations, the Mayor must have come across some bad food because on July 5th, she was admitted to the hospital for salmonella poisoning.
On June 25, the CDC recalled a batch of Frozen Cooked Shrimp due to a Salmonella outbreak. However the City has not said how the Mayor was infected.
In her absence, Deputy Mayor James P Smith acted on her behalf.
This is Warren’s third time in the hospital while serving as the Mayor of Rochester. In 2017 she suffered an allergic reaction. In 2014 Mayor Warren suffered from flu-like symptoms and dehydration.
We are all glad that she has recovered and is back at City Hall this morning!
