75 year old Martin Gugino is now in stable condition and has responded to the President’s tweet about the events that led to his injury.
According to CNN, when Gugino heard about the president accusing him of being an ANTIFA provocateur, “the 75 year-old just laughed.”
When asked for a public comment, he only said “Black Lives Matter.”
Gugino’s attorney describes him as “Shy and reserved, (but) takes public action as a matter of conscience and faith.”
His friend Kathy Kelly commented on the video showing Gugino walking up to police before he was pushed, saying:
“It doesn’t surprise me at all that he wanted to strike up a conversation with someone who, to me, would look like a fearsome person. To Martin, he would look like someone who might be interested in an exchange.”
