Lovely Warren Reaches Out To Families Affected By Saturday’s Mass Shooting

Mayor Lovely Warren spoke with some of the families of the victims of the mass shooting that happened on Saturday night.
She’s asking the community to keep the families affected in their prayers as they piece their lives back together after the tragic event.
The Rochester Police Department is saying that two people were killed and 14 were injured in the incident. Over 100 people were at the party when the shooting started sometime around 12:30am, by the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, close to Goodman Street.
Out of the 14 injured, 9 went to Strong Memorial Hospital and 5 were taken to Rochester General for their wounds. Reports say none of the injuries are life threatening and they are all expected to make a full recovery.
The deceased have not been named, but Interim Police Chief Mark Simmons gave details, saying they were a man and a woman between the ages of 18-24.
