Legendary Boxing Match Between Mike Tyson & Roy Jones Jr. Ends In A Draw

Written by on November 30, 2020

On Saturday, Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson got in the ring for an exhibition boxing match that was very difficult to predict. It turns out, the heavyweight legends are pretty evenly matched.

The fight was called at a draw after eight, two minute rounds full of signature moves from both fighters.

Sources say that Tyson seemed happier with the draw. When interviewed after the fight, Jones said:

“I wear draws, I don’t do draws.”

When asked if he would return to the sport professionally, Tyson said:

“This is bigger than fighting and winning the championship. We’re humanitarians and we’re helping people.”

He was of course referring to the exhibition matches that raise money for charities.

Although the main event was years in the making, some would say that the show was stolen by the fight’s commentary by Snoop Dogg.

He openly rooted for Jones and had some great one-liners.
