Lawmakers Rally in Solidarity Following Buffalo Mass Shooting

Lawmakers gathered yesterday in solidarity after the mass shooting in Buffalo. Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins was in attendance of the rally, stating: “This was what caused the death of so many people over the weekend, simply wearing the skin they’re in…”
Speaker of the Assembly Carl Heastie also spoke out to say: “This isn’t the first time I’ve said it, and unfortunately this won’t be the last time were going to gather here, this country’s insane obsession with guns and assault weapons.”
