Lavonia School District New Student Policy For The 2023-2024 School Year

Written by on October 27, 2022

Lavonia central school district Superintendent just announced starting next year they will no longer allow students that live outside of the district to attend its schools.

The Superintendent says there’s about 30 non-resident students enrolled this school year; the district will allow students grades 6 and up to stay in the district until

 graduation.

Some families say they felt blindsided with the announcement.

The only way for non-resident students to go or stay in Livonia schools is to have a parent get employed by the district or re-locate there.

The policy will go into effect in the 2023-2024 school year.
