The greatest player in the Minnesota Timberwolves history is making a play to buy the team.
NBA legend Kevin Garnett is part of an investment group who is currently preparing an offer for long-time owner Glen Taylor to consider.
Garnett and Taylor have been beefing ever since KG was denied a front office role with the team.
Now KG is trying to bury the hatchet so that he can buy the team and bring a championship to the city of Minneapolis.
This is a move that the NBA should get behind because it shows a commitment to support players off the court and to diversify the league’s team of owners.
My passion for the Minnesota Timberwolves to be a championship team is
well known but I have a deeper affection for the city of Minneapolis. I
once again want to see Minneapolis as the diverse and loving community
