Kanye West Rep ‘Confirms’ Aug. 6 Release Date for ‘Donda’ Album, For What That’s Worth

On Monday, a new release date for Kanye West’s new album, “Donda” was confirmed by a rep for the artist.
“Donda” was first announced in 2019, but after the announcement no one heard much about the album. However, the album has resurfaced this month when West held a listen on July 17th in Las Vegas. He then held a bigger listen in Atlanta on July 22nd and the album was supposed to be released that night.
The July 23rd release date was confirmed by the label, Def Jam, but it was clearly pushed back. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to Kanye West fans as he has moved released dates around before on several previous albums.
But, for now, expect the album to be released on August 6th.
