John Singleton In Intensive Care After Suffering A Stroke

Director John Singleton suffered a stroke last week after being hospitalized for weakness in his legs. The Oscar nominated director had the stroke Wednesday according to multiple news reports and is now in Intensive Care at an undisclosed hospital.

John Singelton is most know for his movies “Boyz N The Hood”, “Four Brother’s”, “Rosewood”, “Poetic Justice”, and his most recent work on FX’s show “Snowfall”.

The family released this statement “We ask that privacy be given to him and our family at this time and appreciate all of the prayers that have been pouring in from his fans, friends and colleagues.”

John Singleton is 51.
