On January 1, 2025, the minimum wage in New York will increase to $15.50 per hour in upstate regions and $16.50 in New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. Tipped workers will receive these amounts as their base pay, supplemented by a tip credit. In 2026, the minimum wage will rise by an additional 50 cents statewide.
