James Fauntleroy Sells Publishing Assets to HarbourView Equity Partners

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and producer James Fauntleroy has sold a portion of his publishing catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners. Fauntleroy, known for his collaborations with major artists like Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, recently co-wrote the new single “Die with a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Mars. While the full details of the transaction were not disclosed, Fauntleroy expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, citing it as a significant milestone in his career that will open new opportunities for growth. HarbourView’s CEO, Sherrese Clarke Soares, praised Fauntleroy’s impact across multiple genres and welcomed him to their roster. In addition to his songwriting achievements, Fauntleroy co-founded the 1500 Sound Academy in Inglewood, a music school dedicated to nurturing young talent.
