Jam Squad Recap: Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Community Outreach Day

Old, young, men and women have showed up to the Community Outreach Day at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church today. The aroma of popcorn, hot dogs and hamburgers surrounded the church and parking lot, all free of charge for the church members and visitors. We at WDKX alongside PBS, RCSD and other organizations were kind enough to give out free giveaways to anyone willing enough to step right up to our tables.

All in all, it was a good time for grown folks and especially children with a total of 4-5 different bounce houses, snow cones and cotton candy! Even my little cousin, Kaydence, was volunteering to give to other kids before she got some herself. This was a great event for the whole family!
