“I Wanna Dance With Somebody” Will Tell The Story Of Music Icon Whitney Houston

Music icon Whitney Houston will her life, made into a movie. The film, titled “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” will have Pat Houston (Whitney Houston’s sisters-in-law) and Clive Davis (who discovered Houston), working together on producing the bio pic. In statement released “The Estate of Whitney Houston is more than elated to be involved with a group of people that are as passionate about Whitney’s life story as we are. Whitney’s legacy deserves only the best that can be given,”

Stella Meghie (The Photograph) is rumored to be directing. Anthony McCarten, Oscar nominated script writer who’s credits include “Bohemian Rhapsody” is also involved with the project. A 6-Time Grammy Winner, Houston was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. Sold over 200 Million records worldwide over her 25 year career. Including “The Bodyguard” soundtrack which remains the best-selling soundtrack album in history. Houston passed away in 2012 at the age of 48 due to accidental drowning.
