Historic Jell-O Factory Plans Announced

A historic landmark to our south is on the verge of revival. Funderburk Enterprises, a New York-based firm, has unveiled plans to renovate the iconic Jell-O factory in LeRoy, with intentions to transform it into a distillery.This factory was once the birthplace of Jell-O treats back in the 1960s. To jumpstart the Oatka Distillery, a Kickstarter campaign is now underway.
Earl Funderbunk, the visionary behind the initiative, mentions that they are seeking financial support to navigate the licensing and permitting stages, emphasizing the aim to breathe new life into this significant structure.Furthermore, he highlighted their strategy to market spirits for crafting homemade Jell-O shots.
