Have You Forgiven Yourself Lately?

Forgiveness is a huge part of you not only taking care of yourself, but it’s a part of your well-being. It’s actually essential. When you forgive you let go and release all of those negative feelings and emotions you have bottled up inside. And I’m not just talking about forgiving other people, I’m talking about forgiving yourself.

Self-forgiveness is so important and I don’t think most people realize that or even know how to. I didn’t know as a matter of fact I just learned about self forgiveness within these last few months. It has changed my world in so many ways. In forgiving myself I let go of the frustration of not achieving my goals, when I make a mistake or fail at something, or when I’m putting myself down.

We all have at one point or another talked bad about ourselves. If you have been upset with yourself for whatever reason maybe you made a bad decision, or you lied to someone close to you – doesn’t matter what. Take a moment today to forgive YOU. If you put yourself down or thought negatively about yourself apologize and forgive you.

I know it may sound weird but try it! Then give yourself a big ass hug and when you apologize look in the mirror and mean it. Then tell yourself that you love you.

You will feel so much better when you do.
