It’s during the tough times of your life when you get to see the true colors of the people who say they care about you.
Notice who sticks around and who doesn’t. Be grateful to those who leave you because they have provided you with room to grow in the space they abandoned. Appreciate the people who loved you when you didn’t feel loveable. Be okay with giving the gift of your absence to those who do not appreciate or respect your presence. May you have the strength to accept the things you cannot change, courage to change the things you can and wisdom to know the difference.
