Governor Hochul Introduces Investments in Rochester

Yesterday, Governor Kathy Hochul visited Innovation Square, formerly known as Xerox Tower, to highlight what her proposed budget has in store for the region. Gov Hochul ​​talked about her budget proposal which includes a major investment to address a housing shortage across the state.

Governor Hochul stated: “Perfect example of the new Rochester being built in a place where the old Rochester once occupied the legacy businesses like Xerox and Kodak, so here we are finding ways to make this region more affordable, safer, more livable. This is also an opportunity for us to have more young students live down here.”
