Governor Hochul honors 29 fallen firefighters at NYS Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony

During the 26th annual New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony on Tuesday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, accompanied by state representatives, fire department members, and families of deceased firefighters, honored 29 firefighters. Their names will be inscribed on the New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial Wall in Albany, joining over 2,600 other New York firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in service. The memorial also served as a tribute to all current New York firefighters.
