Game of Thrones has come to an end for us all but what about the people who star in the hit HBO series?
As a fan of the show the end was tough and there were plenty of mixed reviews on the last episode however, like all great things the end.
Most of us will find something else to watch especially with all of the options we have today via on demand, cable, and internet. So what is next for the cast and crew of Game of Thrones?
As fans we can be pretty selfish in the way that we don’t think about the people who make the magic happen on our screens.
Example, it takes several months and in some cases over a year to film one season which means the cast and crew spend a pretty big chunk of their lives working and filming together. Then you have some actors that worked on Game of Thrones since day one like Kit Harington (Jon Snow) who finds themselves struggling with end of the show and wondering what’s next – major life change.
Kit Harington has been in the news recently for using his time off after the end of Game of Thrones to work on some “personal issues” and checking himself into a wellness retreat.
According to Page Six, Harington is receiving psychological coaching, meditation, and behavioral therapy after the end of GOT because it hit him pretty hard.
First and foremost, wishing Kit the very best and sending infinite good peaceful energy his way. The one thing that I believe we can take away from this is when life changes, throws us curve balls, or something that has been a part of lives comes to end we really have to take the time to deal with what we feel before moving forward.
Dealing with our emotions and feelings is key to moving on and continuing our journey without taking the extra baggage with us dragging it into the next chapter of or life. Dealing is healing.
Yes, it is incredibly easier said than done BUT it can be done. If you need professional help then by all means get the help you need to move forward at peace and okay with what life has given you.
So if you have to get help then get it! If you have a good friend you can confide in, a life coach, a relative, or someone you feel comfortable talking with and they create a safe space please by all means reach out to them so that you can be okay.
At the end of the day you have to be okay with YOU. If you’re not good then you can not do good or be good for anyone else!
As for Kit Harington a.k.a. Jon Snow sending you positive vibes and Godspeed!
