Free School Lunch Debit Card Send To Families Across NYS

If you received a debit card in the mail from New York State there’s over $400 in that account.
That $420 was a surprise for some people. The money on that debit card is for your kids free lunch that they would’ve received last school year.
This is a part of the New York State Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transferred Food Benefits program also known as P-EBT.
They’re dozens of city and rural school districts that have students who are eligible for this debit card.
You don’t have to apply for this debit card it’s automatically coming to you if your child attends one of the districts that’s participating in this program.
Check to see if your school district is participating.
