Frank Ocean Gifted Us With A New Track

On Christmas morning, Frank Ocean gifted all his fans and listeners with a special Christmas episode of his Apple Music 1-aired blonded RADIO show. In the show, the award-winning recluse shared an intimate conversation between himself and motivational speaker and extreme athlete Wim “Iceman” Hof about dealing with grief. This conversation comes from Ocean’s most recent loss, where Ocean’s younger brother, Ryan Breaux, passed away in August 2020 due to an unfortunate car accident.

This vulnerable look inside Ocean’s world comes after two years since his last Apple Music installment, and with this, we were able to hear a new track. In this track, Ocean improves for almost nine minutes, rapping about his late brother, the need for a spiritual connection, and delivering emotionally charged lines that will make anyone sit back and cherish the memories of their own loved ones: “I could be great, I’m on my way / If I wanna escape, I can escape,” he declares in the refrain’s lyrics.”
