Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is facing a misdemeanor criminal complaint of forcible touching as he faces his allegations that he forcibly touched a female staff member. This is the one criminal charge against Cuomo thus far after resigning back in August. Cuomo is currently facing allegations of sexual harassment involving 11 women.
Cuomo’s attorney Rita Glavin issued a statement saying Cuomo “has never assaulted anyone. However, New York state Attorney General Letitia James, who conducted an investigation that proved the evidence against Cuomo stated: “The criminal charges brought today against Mr. Cuomo for forcible touching further validate the findings in our report.”
