Written by on March 21, 2021

Greece Central School District has now been assisting families affected by the pandemic for a year.

Their partnership up with Foodlink gives theme the ability to help families facing food insecurity by providing them with a two week supply of food.

Since they started the program last year, they have given out over 10,000 boxes of food.

Volunteer Emilie Callaghan gave a statement, saying:

“So when we went into closure, I really felt the need to come out and help our community and as a crisis intervener I felt it was an extension of that position. It just means the world to me. I love helping out people and just understanding they have a need and I’m able to contribute and fill that need for them.”
