Five States Confirm Omicron Cases

As of yesterday, there are now nine confirmed omicron cases in five states. A couple of days ago, health officials from Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota, and New York all reported new cases of the variant strain of COVID-19, just one day after the first case of the variant was discovered in California.

Health Director Dr. Elizabeth Char stated: “This isn’t the reason for panic, but it is the reason for concern. It’s a reminder the pandemic is ongoing. We need to protect ourselves by getting vaccinated, wearing masks, distancing as best we can, and avoiding large crowds.
