Federal Officials Prepare The Capitol For Biden’s Inauguration

As more details about the January 6 insurrection, federal officials are preparing for the worst as Joe Biden’s inauguration draws near.
Evidence supporting the fact that the insurrectionists may have had support from Capitol Police, current and former members of the military and even some members of Congress.
Some lawmakers are still nervous about their safety, even as the Capitol is being reinforced with added security. They are mostly worried that the second impeachment will only serve to divide the country further and challenge extremists to carry out attacks through 2021.
By Friday, the FBI had received over 120,000 digital tips regarding armed protests that are being planned in all 50 states. So far those tips have led to 275 criminal investigations, 98 individuals charged and 100 individuals taken into custody.
