Favorite Oscar 2019 Moments

Written by on February 25, 2019

The 2019 Oscars didn’t have a host which I barely even noticed, not that I watched the entire show or even watch the Oscars every year it’s on but this one was a little unique.

I watched to see the blackness and whew chile, let me tell you it was full of color, flare, black love, and elegance!

It was beautiful to see so many of us when at one time there was maybe only one.

Thank you Lena Waithe for this reminder ?!

Let’s talk about Regina King, Spike Lee, and the fact that Marvel won it’s first Oscar with the movie Black Panther.

Regina King won the first Oscar of the evening and her first Oscar for Supporting Actress in If Beale Street Could Talk. Watch her emotional acceptance speech and how Chris Evans helps her up the stairs.

Chivalry isn’t dead after all.
