Expired Vehicle Registration, Inspection, ID Cards Must Be Renewed by November 3
Written by Jazzy T on October 19, 2020
When the Coronavirus hit New York, all non-essential businesses, including the DMV, shut down to stop the spread. Now that local offices have re-opened, it’s time to renew those DMV documents, including vehicle inspections, vehicle registrations, and non-driver IDs.
The expiration date of these documents was postponed but only until November 3 2020.
So if you are riding around with a registration or inspection sticker from March, April, May, June, July August, September or October you only have a couple of weeks to renew!
Before you head to your local DMV office, make an appointment! All in-person transactions are by appointment only.
You can also renew many documents online.
