Elderly Asian Woman Beat Her Attacker

Xiao Zhen Xie is 76 years old. She was chillin’, minding her own business quietly and waiting at a traffic light on a busy afternoon in San Francisco. All of a sudden, as the story goes, this guy came up and punched her in the face. There seemed to be no apparent reason for the attack other than someone trying to take advantage of an easy target. The lady then, found a two-foot stick laying around and seized the opportunity to defend herself. She started beating the man bloody before the cops showed up.
The 39-year-old man accused of the attack, is under investigation for this and for another attack on an 83-year-old man that occurred a half hour earlier than the one on Xie.
A KPIX journalist just happened to be out for a morning run and captured some footage of the woman yelling at the man, who was all bloody and dazed, as a crowd had gathered.
