Early Voting Sees A Record Turnout For 2020 Presidential Election

The first day of early voting in Monroe County was almost five times the first day turnout for early voting in the 2019 general election.

Around 9,500 people showed up to cast their ballot at the 12 polling sites where early voting is permitted.

The polling sites are:

David F. Gantt Community Center, 700 North St., Rochester.
City of Rochester Recreation Bureau, 2nd Floor, 57 St Paul St.
Genesee Valley Field House, 1316 Genesee St., Rochester.
Edgerton Recreation Center, 41 Backus St., Rochester.
SUNY Empire State College, 680 Westfall Road, Brighton.
Town of Chili Senior Center, 3235 Chili Ave.
North Greece Road Church of Christ, 1039 North Greece Road.
Marketplace Mall (North Entrance), 1 Miracle Mile Drive, Henrietta.
Irondequoit Public Library, 1290 Titus Ave.
Harris-Whalen Park Lodge, 2126 Penfield Road, Penfield.
Perinton Square Mall, 6720 Pittsford-Palmyra Road.
Webster Recreation Center, 1350 Chiyoda Drive.

Saturday & Sunday Hours run from 9am-3pm and 9am-5pm Monday Wednesday and Friday; 11 am-8pm Tuesday and Thursday, then 9am – 3pm again on October 31 & November 1.
