Drake breaks another Billboard Hot 100 record

Drake has made the history books yet again. According to information from Billboard, the musician now holds the record for the most Hot 100 chart entries ever after achieving his 208th placement this week.

The OVO star managed to accomplish the record-setting feat after appearing on Lil Yachty’s recent single “Oprah’s Bank Account”. The track debuted on the Hot 100 at number 89.

Drake’s recent chart dominance has allowed him to overtake the cast of the hit television show Glee, who previously held the record for the most entries on the Hot 100 with an impressive 207 songs. However, Drake has broken this record with a successful streak which includes 431 consecutive weeks on the chart, which began with the release of his first hit “Best I Ever Had” back in 2009, before finally coming to an end in August 2017.

While Drake’s collaboration with Lil Yachty might be modestly placed on the latest Hot 100, the artist continues to make his presence felt in the upper echelons of the chart. His collaboration with Future, “Life Is Good”, is currently placed at number 3, having spent its first eight weeks on the chart in second place.

With more collaborations and a new album in the pipeline, Drake is expected to hold onto his record for the most Hot 100 hits for the foreseeable future.
