Disney’s The Lion King Musical Reign Review

If you have the chance to go to Disney’s The Lion King musical please go, you will not be disappointed.
The Lion King is more than just a musical it is a magical experience for ALL ages. Visually stunning and the choreography is brilliant!
I am still in awe!
The costumes, especially the Giraffes are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. From the opening act to the last moments were just breathtaking. You have to see it to believe it.
The artistry, again the choreography, the cast and ensemble were magnificent!!
My absolute favorite part which I’m still trying to figure out how the heck they did it was Mufasa’s face in the lights when Simba was looking at his reflection was something out of this world – blew my mind.
I can not stress enough that you have to experience it to believe it, I guess that’s the magic of Disney!

A quick fun fact: Rochester’s own and Tony Award winning Garth Fagan choreographed The Lion King musical. Disney’s The Lion King has been on tour since it debuted in 1997 and is the third longest running broadway show in history.
