Despite Beef, Trevor Noah Did Not Ask Grammys to Ban Ye’s Performance

While we won’t be able to enjoy Ye’s performance at the 2022 Grammys, the host of the 2022 show, Trevor Noah, wanted to clear the air that he has nothing to do with the Grammys making this decision. If you’ve missed it, it is reported that Ye was banned from performing at this year’s show due to his recent posts to Instagram, where on one of the posts, he was suspended from posting after acting Trevor Noah.
According to a source close to CNN, they stated: “Trevor never asked the Grammys to ban Kanye from performing. He was not offended by Kanye’s Instagram post and Trevor responded on Instagram. The notion that Trevor or his team asked the Grammys to ban Kanye is ridiculous.”
