Demolition Begins for Major Expansion at Strong Memorial Hospital

Strong Memorial Hospital will soon get a new look as demolition begins for its major expansion! Their new look will make room for a more extensive emergency department and some of the buildings being brought down date back decades.

Robert Maloney, the project coordinator, stated; “When you walk through our Emergency Department, you can see the physicians are delivering world-class health care, and they are just so strained and you know, you see it in the nursing staff, all of the support staff, it’s very difficult.”
