Written by on May 8, 2021

Common Ground Health’s program, the ambassador program, is helping to reach others and encourage them to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Camaje Grissom, a senior at Edison Tech High School, is one of these people. In a statement from Camaje Grissom, he stated; “I would help them better understand the importance of this.I really want to educate people and give them something to think about.” Grissom plans to join the Army post-graduation, but until then he would like to help others, and this starts with Common Ground Health’s
program. He and six others will be at the Lilac festival, encouraging and educating.

Dina Faticone, the Chief Program Officer with Common Ground Health had this to say; “They are our helpers. They are our culture brokers. They have been out there doing a ton of really good work to help people make a decision about getting a vaccine. We really tested this out and saw it’s been a huge success. Those seven ambassadors have personally signed up over 1,000 people to get their vaccines. They’re making follow up phone calls to get their second doses.”
