College Professor Suspended After Calling Police On Student For Not Switching Seats

A college professor was suspended from teaching and the rest of the semester after calling campus police on a student that refused to switch seats. The incident happened last month during a mid lecture at ball state University in Indiana.

Reports say the student, a senior, was following a presentation on his laptop and was charging it on the back wall and was called out by the professor and asked “why are you moving in the middle of class” and was told to switch seats and refused.
When campus police arrived they told the student either move to another seat or leave the class, the embarrassed student decided to leave the class.
Some people at the college disagreed with the suspension of the professor.
Do you think the professor being suspended is fair of foul?
