CNN & Sesame Street Will Hold Town Hall Meeting For Kids & Families About Racism

Written by on June 4, 2020

CNN and Sesame Street are collaborating to host a 60-minute town hall special called “Coming Together: Stand Up Against Racism” for children and families at 10 a.m. on Saturday to discuss racism.

The town hall meeting will have features from Big Bird and CNN’s van Jones and Erica Hill as mediators. Elmo Abby  Cadabby and others will answer questions subbmitted by families.
I don’t think you can teach children about Racism in a 60 minutes special with Sesame Street, but it get it some families need that kick starter conversation more than others.
You can catch the special on CNN, CNN International, and CNN.com being at 10am this Saturday morning June 6th.
