Clifford Florence Sr., son of the late civil rights leader Rev. Franklin Florence, has announced his candidacy for mayor of Rochester.
He plans to file his papers with the Monroe County Board of Elections on Thursday, aiming to bring about positive change like his father did. His son, Clifford Florence Jr., is also running for a seat on the Rochester City Council.
