City of Rochester to Sue Kia & Hyundai Amid Car Theft Surge

Rochester Mayor Malik Evans announced the city intends to file a lawsuit against Kia and Hyundai for costs associated with the rash of car thefts in the city.
Mayor Evans stated: “This is not just a Rochester problem. If you talk to the state police, there’s also problems in Schuyler County. So I want to be clear this is an issue across our state and across our county, so this is why we have to deal with it collectively.”
