City Of Rochester Free Financial Wellness Workshop This Saturday Oct, 12th

The Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment, in partnership with the New York State Comptroller’s Office and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants will conduct free financial wellness workshop from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, at the RIT Downtown Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, 40 Franklin St. Downtown. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Certified Public Accountants how to financially prepare for their child’s future, with a focus on college savings, as well as effective strategies for managing debt and savings during the holiday season. Workshop times and subjects are as follows:
- 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – Debt Management and Saving for the Holidays
- 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. – Preparing for Your Child’s Future
