We hear stories all the time in the music industry about how certain hit songs from a artist was originally meant for another artists.
Ciara revealed her debut hit song “Goodies” was almost given to Britney Spears.
Now that I’m writing this I definitely hear Britney Spears on this record.
I personally don’t think Britney Spears would’ve sounded as good as Ciara did but that’s a different story.
If this record would’ve went to Britney Spears we know it would have been a instant hit for her. But everything Ciara did on this record from the singing and the dancing in the video this record was a meant for Ciara to have.
